CNC Horizontal Lathing
Lathes are ideal for machining the outer and inner diameters of workpieces such as shafts and pipes. They can perform work including turning, cutting, knurling, drilling, facing, and deformation. Our factory is equipped with automatic CNC horizontal lathe machines that can machine complex workpieces. CNC horizontal lathing is suitable for machining automotive parts and cylindrical parts. The advantage of the horizontal lathes is their high stability, which ensures the quality and precision of the outcome.
Grinding
Grinding helps remove and polish material from workpieces and is particularly suitable for processing heat-treated workpieces with higher hardness. Cylindrical grinding can be used for parts of a cylindrical or conical shape and the end surface of the shoulder. Yin-Ching uses ID grinders and centerless grinders to perform internal diameter grinding, external diameter grinding, and surface grinding. Yin-Ching’s experience in grinding services ensures reliable and high-quality automotive, motorcycle, and machinery parts with the desired surface. Our services include outside diameter cylindrical grinding, internal diameter grinding, outside & internal diameter grinding, vertical rotary surface grinding, center grinding, and 4-axis machining.
Boring
The boring process enlarges a drilled hole. Boring is often used to work the internal diameter to improve a hole’s diametrical accuracy or cut a tapered hole. The purposes are (1) creating holes of proper size and finish, (2) setting a hole straight or correcting casting defects, (3) working a hole to ensure that the hole and the external diameter have a common axis. At Yin-Ching, we use precision boring machines to deliver a stable performance, which results in optimal boring results and precise internal cylindrical surface. The outcomes are parts of high accuracy, a close hole tolerance, and a high-quality surface finish.

Molding
Molding is necessary for custom shock absorber production. We develop and make the mold based on product specifications given by the customer. Custom molds are also required for strut housings manufactured, based on customer requirements.
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is used for cutting metal sheets. The fiber laser cutter’s high-quality beam can perform precise cutting while the beam does not cause any damage to workpieces. The other advantage is that the cut metal sheet bears less mechanical stress and preserves the material properties. Yin-Ching uses fiber laser cutters to cut metal sheets for the fixing plate used for housings holding shock absorbers.
Wire Cutting
Wire cutting is done on a wire EDM and is ideal for cutting hard metals such as hard steels, carbide, titanium, and tungsten. Wire cutting can produce workpieces based on CAD and with high Ppk/Cpk values. We use wire EDMs to cut workpieces made of electrically conductive metals.
Deep Hole Drilling
In definition, a deep hole is one with a depth-to-diameter ratio (D:d) greater than 10:1. Yin-Ching uses CNC BTA deep drilling machines to ensure our tube workpieces' roundness, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality.
Tapping Machining
What is tapping? It is a process of using a tap to create internal threads of a tube. Yin-Ching’s machine tapping service uses drilling and tapping centers and therefore avoids the problem of human errors in tapping. Our tapping service for piston rods and tubing provides fast and accurate outcomes for small workpieces due to our stringent quality control to reduce tap breakage and quality fluctuation.
Forging
Forging is an ideal production method for automotive parts because it ensures that they have the required mechanical properties. Yin-Ching forges strut housings that have the ideal geometries and tolerance. These benefits enable finished pieces to provide stable support for automotive and motorcycle suspension systems.
Polishing
The tubes for hydraulic shock absorbers should have a smooth and low-friction inner. A polishing process done by special polishing cloths can achieve this outcome. To receive optimal inner smoothness, Yin-Ching uses polishing cloths with unique characteristics to ensure the polishing outcomes are optimal and meet customer requirements.

Surface Treatment
To improve the surface or characteristics of parts, Yin-Ching also collaborates with other companies to improve the produced parts. The surface treatment for details is based on customer requirements. The additional finishing treatment process we use includes four categories: heat treatment, coating, hard anodic treatment/anodizing, and sandblasting.
Heat Treatment
The heat treatment procedure for our workpieces can include several methods, including the simple heating/holding/cooling treatment and other treatments in a high-temperature process such as carburization, high-frequency hardening, and spheroidization.
Coating
Toward the end of the machining process, we also use several coating techniques for improving corrosion resistance and other surface characteristics. Our coating services include electro-deposition coating, black chrome plating, and powder/liquid coating.
Hard Anodic Treatment & Anodizing
Yin-Ching’s parts might go through anodizing or hard anodic treatment. The purpose of anodizing is to give the metal surface a decorative and corrosion-resistant finish. Hard anodizing creates very thin, non-metallic conversion coatings, yet it is thicker and stronger than the standard anodized surface. Yin-Ching’s anodized and hard anodized parts have a heavy-duty and wear-resistant surface and ensure the durability of shock absorbers.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is the process of smoothing and cleaning a hard surface. During the process, the air forces abrasives to remove surface debris and engraves.
